It is given that ,
√3 tanA - 1 = 0
tanA = 1/√3
tanA = tan 30°
Therefore ,
A = 30° ---( 1 )
i ) sinA = sin 30° = 1/2
ii ) cotA = 1/tanA = 1/( 1/√3 ) = √3
iii ) secA=1/cosA=1/cos 30°= 1/( √3/2 )= 2/√3
iv ) sin 2A + cos 2A
= sin( 2 × 30° ) + cos ( 2 × 30° )
= sin 60° + cos 60°
= √3/2 + 1/2
= ( √3 + 1 )/2
