GIVEN:-

(3x-15), (x+5)

To Find:-

The angles.

SOLUTION:-

Two angles are complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a Right Angle). They don't have to be next to each other, just so long as the total is 90 degrees.

So, According to question,

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{(3x-15)+(x+5)=90\degree}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{3x-15+x+5=90}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{4x-10=90}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{4x=90+10}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{4x=100}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{x=\frac{100}{4}}}

\large\therefore\boxed{\sf{x=25}}

So the angles are:-

\large{\sf{3x-15=(3\times25) -15=75-15=60\degree}}

\large{\sf{x+5=25+5=30\degree}}

Let's verify it:-

As we know that Two angles are complementary when they add up to 90 degrees (a right Angle). They don't have to be next to each other, just so long as the total is 90 degrees.

So by adding 60° and 30° we get 90°.

\large\therefore\boxed{\sf{\pink{The \:angles\: are:- \:60\degree \:and \:30\degree}}}
