3x + 2y = 10.........(i)

2x + 3y = 15.........(ii)

Adding (i) and (ii), we get,

5x + 5y = 25

Or,

x + y = 5

Hence, value of x+y is 5.

3x+2y=10...(1)
2x+3y=15...(1)

Add (1) and (2)
3x+2y+2x+3y=10+15
Take common terms together,
3x+2x+3y+2y=25
5x+5y=25
5(x+y)=25 [take 5 as common outside the bracket)
x+y=25/5
Therefore, x+y=5
