  • If 3x+2y=20 and xy =14, then find the value of 27x^{3}+8y^{3}

\star\:\:\:\bf\large\underline\blue{Solution:-}

3x + 2y  = 20

xy = 14

Therefore,

27 {x}^{3}  + 8 {y}^{3}

 =  {(3x)}^{3}  +  {(2y)}^{3}

 =  {(3x + 2y)}^{3}  - 3 \times 3x \times 2y(3y + 2y)

 =  {(3x + 2y)}^{3}  - 18xy(3y + 2y)

 =  {20}^{3}  - (18 \times 14 \times 20)

 = 8000 - 5040

 = 2960

  • 27 {x}^{3}  + 8 {y}^{3}  = 2960
