x + y - 3 = 0 ---------(2)

(2) × 2

2x + 2y -6 = 0

2x + 2y = 6 -------(3)

Solving (1) & (3) :

3x - 2y = 4

2x +2y = 6

5x = 10

5x = 10

x = 10/5

x = 2

Substituting 'x' in (2) :

x + y - 3 = 0

2 + y - 3 = 0

y - 1 = 0

y = 1
