HEY......!!! here is ur answer....

Given that...

3x–2y = 7.......(1)

& xy = 3......(2)

From equation (2)

x = 3/y

On putting the value of "x" in equation (1)

=> 3(3/y)–2y = 7

=> 9–2y² = 7y....(3)

=> 2y²+7y–9 = 0

=> 2y²–2y+9y–9 = 0

=> 2y(y–1)+9(y–1) = 0

=> (y–1)(2y+9) = 0

Then required value of y = 1 & –9/2

when the value of y = 1 then x = 3/y = 3

& when the value of y = –9/2 then

x = 3/y = –2/3 <<<<<<Ans.

I hope it will be helpful for u...!!

THANK YOU....

Answer:

x=3/y = -2/3

Step-by-step explanation:

3(3/y)-2y=7

9-2y²=7y(3)

2y²+7y-9=0

2y²-2y+9y-9=0

2y(y-1)+9(y-1)=0

(y-1)(2y+9)=0

x=3/y = -2/3 is answer
