If 3x + 4y = 10, 4x+3y= -3 then find the value of x+yu​

Answer:

multiple equation 1 by 4 and equation 2 by 3

then 12x + 16y = 40

or 12x + 9y = -9

now minus both

7y = 49

y = 49/7 = 7

put the value of y in Equation 2 .

so x = (-63-9) /12 = -72/12 = -6

therefore x + y = -6+7 = 1 answer
