3x+2y-6=0

3x+2y=6.........eq(2)

subtract eq(1) from eq(2)

3x+2y-3x+4y=6+12

6y=18

y=3 put in eq2

3x=6-6

3x=0

x=0

area of triangle=1/2(x)(y)

=1/2(0)(3)=0
