If 3x+4y=4 and 2x+y=1 then the value of 2x+3y

Answer:

3x+4y=4.....(i)

2x+y=1......(ii)

using elimination method

multiply (i) with 2 and (ii) with 3 making the cofficient of x of both equation equal after it

. 6x+8y=8

. 6x-3y=3

. 11y=11

. y=1

after putting it in (i) x=1

now put both values in 2x+3y=2+3=5

ANS =5
