If 3x-4y=5 is is a linear equation such that x=7, then find the value of y?​

3x - 4y = 5

Putting value of x=7

3×7 - 4y = 5

21 - 4y = 5

-4y = 5 - 21

- 4y = -16

y =  \frac{ - 16}{ - 4}

(minus will cut off)

So answer is y = 4
