3x-7x/4-5=5-5x/6+1/12-1/42

3x-7x/4+5x/6=5+5+1/12-1/42

36x/12-21x/12+10x/12=840/84+7/84-2/84

25x/12=845/84

x=845/84×12/25

x=173/35

therefore the value of x=173/35
