We know that Sum of supplementary angles is 180°
(3x-58) + (x+38) = 180
3x-58+x+38 = 180
3x+x-58+38 = 180
4x-20 = 180
4x = 180+20
4x = 200
x = 200/4 = 50
Hence, the value of x is 50
First angle = 3x-58=3*50-58=150-58=92°
Second angle = 50+38=88°
