 Given \: (3x+5y): (3x-5y) = 7 : 3

 We \:know \: that ,

 \boxed {\pink { If \: a:b = c:d \implies ad=bc }}

 \implies (3x+5y) \times 3 = (3x-5y) \times 7

 \implies 9x + 15y = 21x - 35y

 \implies 9x - 21x = -35y - 15y

 \implies - 12x = - 50y

 \implies \frac{x}{y} = \frac{-50}{-12}

 \implies \frac{x}{y} = \frac{25}{6}

 \implies x : y = 25 : 6

Therefore.,

 \red { x : y } \green { = 25 : 6 }
