Answer:

3x + 5y = 6

so, 9x + 15y = 18 --- (1)

5x + 3y = 26

so, 25x + 15y = 130 --- (2)

Now,

Substract 2 from 1,

So, 25x + 15y - 9x - 15y = 130 - 18

so, 16x = 112

so, x = 7

Hence,

3x + 5y = 6

so, 3(7) + 5y = 6

so, 21 + 5y = 6

so, 5y = -15

so, y = -3

Now,

x - y = 7 - (-3) = 7+3 = 10 (Ans)
