 \huge\boxed{\underline{\mathcal{\red{A} \green{N } \pink{S } \orange{W } \blue{E } \pink{R }}}}

3X + 5Y = 9 -------------(1)

5X +3Y = 7 ----------------(2)

SUBTRACTING---(1) from----(2)

we get

3x+5y = 9

5x+3y = 7

(-)_(-)___(-)

——————

-2x +2y = 2

=> -x + y = 1----------(3)

adding ---(2) and --(1)

3x +5y = 9

5x +3y = 7

——————

8x + 8y = 16

=> x + y = 2----------(4)

from--(3) and ---(4)

we get,

-x + y = 1

x + y = 2

————

2y = 3

=> y = 3/2 Put in --(3)

we get,

-x +3/2 = 1

=> x = 3/2 - 1

=> x = (3-2)/2

=> x = 1/2
