HERE'S THE ANSWER.

________________________________

♠️ If this line passes through ( - 3 , - 6 ) then it will satisfy the eqn

⏺️ 3 x + k y = - 11

▶️ Putting , x = - 3 and y = - 6

=> 3 ( - 3 ) - 6 k = - 11

=> - 9 - 6 k = - 11

=> - 6 k = - 11 + 9

=> - 6 k = - 2

=> \boxed{ k\:=\:1 \: / \: 3}

bonjour dear!

question:- If 3x+ky =-11 passes through the point (-3,-6). Find k

answer

here the point is (-3,-6)

so x= -3 and y = -6

equation is ↓

3x+ky= -11

→ subsitute the values of x and y

3*-3+k*-6 = -11

-9+-6k= -11

-6k= -11+9

-6k= -2

k= -2/-6 = 1/3

hope it helps
