3 {x}^{2} + 8 = 10x \\ 3 {x}^{2} - 10x + 8 = 0 \\ 3 {x}^{2} - 6x - 4x + 8 = 0 \\ 3x(x - 2) - 4(x - 2) = 0\\ (3x - 4)(x - 2) = 0 \\ x - 2 = 0 \\ x = 2 \\ and \\ 3x - 4 = 0 \\ 3x = 4 \\ x = \frac{4}{3} \\ x = 1.6666666666666666666667
