Answer:

a(x+1).(x+3).(x-5)=ax^3+bx^2+c.x+d or. a(x^3+b/a.x^2+c/a.x+d/a)

or. (x^2+4x+3).(x-5)=x^3+b/a.x^2+c/a.x+d/a.

or. (x^3-x^2–17x-15)=(x^3+b/a.x^2+c/a.x+d/a)………….(2)

Equating the both sides of eqn.(1)

b/a=-1 => b=-a , c/a=-17 => c=-17a. and d/a=-15 => d= -15a

Putting the values of b , c and d in eqn. (1)

ax^3-ax^2-17ax-15a=0

or. x^3-x^2-17x-15=0

or. (x+1).(x+3).(x-5)=0

Thus , the three factors of this eqn. are (x+1) , (x+3) and. (x-5) . Answer.
