Hey mate!!!

 <b >Here is your answer;</b >

Given,

 4^2 + x^2 = (3 + x)^2 - 5^2

 =>16 + x^2 = (3 + x + 5)(3 + x - 5)

=> 16 + x^2 = (x + 8)(x - 2)

=> x^2 +16 = x^2 - 2x + 8x - 16

=> x^2 - x^2 - 8x + 2x = - 16 - 16

=> - 6x = - 32

=> x = \frac{32}{6}

=> x = 5.33(approx.)
