Step-by-step explanation:

putting x=-4 in first equation

(-4)^2+k(-4)-4=0

16-4k-4=0

12-4k=0

4k=12

k=12/4=3

k=3

putting x=-4 and k=3 in second equation

(-4)^2+3×(-4)+p=0

16-12+p=0

4+p=0

p=-4
