since -4 is a zero of p(x)
p(-4)=-4^2+11(-4)+k=0
16-44+k=0
-28+k=0
k=28

Therefore the value of k is 28

hola!

Given :-
p(x) = x² + 11x + k n' -4 is Zero of the polynomial.

p(-4) = x² + 11x + k = 0

x² + 11x + k = 0

(-4)² + 11(-4) + k = 0

16 - 44 + k = 0

k - 28 = 0

k = 28

Hence, The required answer is:- k = 28

hope it helps! :)
