Dear friend,
Here's your answer...
x = - 4
By using Factor Theorem,
p(x) = x² + 11x + k = 0
p(- 4) = (-4)² + 11 × (-4) + k = 0
= 16 - 44 + k = 0
= -28 + k = 0
= k = 28
**Hope it helps you !!

Given :

P(x) = x²+11x+k

To Find:

Value of k

Solution :

Given that -4 is the zero of polynomial p(x)

Putting x = -4

p(x) = x²+11x+k

p(-4) = (-4)²+11(-4)+k

16-44+k = 0

-28+k = 0

k = 28
