Step-by-step explanation:

If -4 is a zero of polynomial then

2x-x-(2k+2)

2(-4)-(-4)-(2k+2) = 0

-8+4-2k-2 = 0

-6-2k = 0

-2k = 6

k = 6/-2

k= -3 .

let x = (-4)

Putting x in the equation -:

(-4) × 2 - (-4) - (2k + 2 )

-8 + 4 - 2k + 2

8 = 4 - 2 - 2k

8 = 2 - 2k

8 - 2 = -2k

6 = -2k

6 ÷ (-2) = k

-3 = k

therefore k = -3
