Solution :

Given Equation : ax - 8 = 0.

=> 0.x² + ax - 8 = 0

here : a = 0 , b = a , c = -8 .

By using Quadratic Formula

b² - 4ac = 0

substituting values , we get

a² - 4(0)(-8) = 0

a² - 0 = 0

a² = 0

a = 0 .

The value of a = 0 .
