Given,

  • If 4 is subtracted from a number and it is divided by 8 then answer is 5.
  • If 6 is added to that number and it is divided by 10 .

To Find,

  • When 6 is added to that number and it is divided by 10 then what will be the answer .

Solution :

\sf{Suppose \ that \ number \  be \  "a "}

\mapsto \underline{\sf{\pink{According \ to \ the \ First \ Condition :}}}

  • If 4 is subtracted from a number and it is divided by 8 then answer is 5.

\implies \sf{\dfrac{a - 4}{8}} = 5

\implies \sf{a - 4 = 5 \times 8}

\implies \sf{a - 4 = 40}

\implies \sf{a = 40 + 4}

\implies \underline{\boxed{\sf{a = 44}}}

Now We have that Number So , We can easily find the finding number :-

\mapsto \underline{\sf{\pink{According \ to \ the \ Second \ Condition :}}}

  • If 6 is added to that number and it is divided by 10 .

\implies \sf{\dfrac{a - 6 }{10}}= \  ?

\implies \sf{\dfrac{44 + 6}{10} = \dfrac{50}{10} =  \boxed{\sf{\pink{5}}}}

Therefore,

\boxed{\large{\bold{Option - A) \ 5}}}
