4(x + 2y) = 2(4x + 10) \\ = 4(x + 2y) = 2(2(2x + 5) \\ = 4(x + 2y) =4(x + 5) \\ dividing \: 4 \: on \: both \: sides \\ x + 2y = x + 5 \\ subtracting \: x \: on \: both \: sides \\ 2y = 5 \\ y = \frac{5}{2} =2.5
