Heya!!

|(4 - x)| 1/2

(4 - x) 1/2 OR -(4 - x ) 1/2

4 - 1/2 x OR ( 4 - x ) -1/2

7/2 x OR 4 + 1/2 x

x 7/2 OR x 9/2

x [ 7/2 9/2 ]

Note:-

1) |4 - x| = { (4 - x), x > 4

{ -(4 - x), x < 4

2) When we Multiply by - sign on both sides inequality changes.

rahman786khalilu: no |x| > 2 => x > 2 or x > -2
Anonymous: When we Multiply by - inequality changes. and you forgotten that.
rahman786khalilu: not that taking modulus negative in RHS but not in LHS
Anonymous: What is about x>= -9/2
Anonymous: - x < -7/2 does no mean x<7/2 it means x >7/2
Anonymous: - x < -9/2 does no mean x<9/2 it means x >9/2
rahman786khalilu: x should be greater than or equal to 7/2
rahman786khalilu: how to change it
Anonymous: | 4 -x | ≤ 1/2 , -1/2 ≤ 4-x ≤1/2 or -1 ≤ 8-2x ≤ 1,or -1-8 ≤-2x ≤ 1-8, or -9 ≤ -2x ≤ -7 or 9 ≥ 2x ≥7, or 9/2 ≥ x ≥ 72,Hence x=[7/2,9/2]
Anonymous: So friend your answer is correct but with mistakes in the solution
