4x² + kx + 9 = 0

k =  \frac{ - 9 - 4  {x}^{2} }{x}

4 {x}^{2}  + ( \frac{ - 9 - 4 {x}^{2} }{ x} ) \times x + 9  = 0 \\ 4 {x }^{2} +  - 9 - 4 {x}^{2}   + 9 = 0 \\  \\

LHS = RHS

HENCE
