If 4, x₁, x₂, x₃, 28 are in AP then find x₃ *

a=4,n=5

therefore,

tn=a+(n_1)d

28=4+5-1×d

28=4+4d

28-4=4d

24=4d

d=6

hence,a+(n-1)d=tn

4+4-1×6=22

therefore , x3=22
