( a+ b) \times 40\% = ( a-b ) \times 60\% \\ ( a+b ) \times (40 \div 100) = (a - b) \times (60 \div 100) \\ 40(a + b) = 60(a - b) \\ 2(a + b) = 3(a - b ) \\ 2a + 2b = 3a - 3b \\ a= 5b \\ \\ now \: (2a - 3b) \div (a + b) \\ put \: a = 5b \\ (2 \times 5b - 3b) \div (5b + b) \\ = (10 - 3)b \div 6b \\ = 7 \div 6
