if 40 workers can do a job in 15 hours how many workers working at the same rate will be required to do the same job in 8 hours

40 worker can do job 15 hr

x workers can do job 8 hr

Therefore,

The Number of workers (x)= 40×8/15

=8×8/3

=64/3

= 21 or 22 (approx)
