All multiple of three that is (3,6,9,12,15)  if we multiply by 43 it is divisible by 3

Given:

43p is divisible by 3.

To find:

What is the largest value P can take.

In such type of problem we can find the value by trial and error technique.

Starting the value take p = 1

43p = 43 × 1

Check this value which is divisible or not divisible by 3

\therefore \frac{43}{3} not divisible by 3

take p = 2

43p = 43 × 2 = 86

\therefore \frac{86}{3} not divisible by 3

take p = 3

43p = 43 × 3 = 129

\therefore \frac{129}{3}  divisible by 3
