take 36 - (13 + x)
as there is bracket,when we multiple the minus sign we get :
36 - 13 + x
= 23 + x
then
28 - (23 + x )
=28 - 23 -x
= 5 - x
then
45 -( 5 - x )
= 45 - 5 + x
= 40 + x
equation = 40 + x = 65
x = 65 - 40
= 25
