᯾Solution᯾

D) 45.6 kg

Description for Correct answer:

Because, Weight of 45 m rod = 171 kg

Therefore, Weight of 1 m rod = 17145 kg

Therefore, Weight of 12 mm rod = 17145×12 = 45.6 kg

Answer : (d) 45.6 kg

Solution :

Let the density of rod be x

 {\tt{x = \frac {mass}{length} }}

 x = \frac{171}{45}

Second rod is made up of same material.

\therefore \frac {mass}{length}

 Mass \: = \: x + \: length

 Mass = \frac {171}{45} \times 12

45.6 \: kg \: \red{ Ans}..
