If capacity of 3 tanks is 4500 l

Capacity of 1 tank = 4500/3 = 1500 litres

So number of tanks that will be filled with 7500 litres of water = 7500/1500 = 5 tanks

  \large\tt Answer

5 tanks of similar capacity can be filled .

  \huge\tt Solution

It is simply stated that 4500 Litres of water can filled up 3 tanks of similar size.

This means to fill up a single tank , 1500 Litres of water is required.

or it can be understand like 1500 litres of water fill up 1 tank

Therefore, 1 litre of water can fill up (1/1500) of that tank.

So , 7500 litres of tank can fill up (7500/1500)

of tank i.e , 5 tanks of similar size.

Below shown Unitary Method for the same.

 : \implies  \sf4500 \: litres  = 3 \: tanks \\  : \implies \sf 1 \: tank =  \dfrac{4500}{3} = 1500 \: litres \\  : \implies \sf 1 \: litre =  \dfrac{1}{1500} tank \\ \\   : \implies  \sf7500 \: litres =   \cancel\dfrac{7500}{1500}  =  \red{5 \: tanks}

Thankyou
