B = 5K - 1     ( 4 , 9 , 14  ..........)

Step-by-step explanation:

4B÷5 leaves the remainder 1

=> 4B  = 5N  + 1

=>  B  =  (5N + 1)/4

=> B   = (4N + N + 1) /4

=> B  = N  +  (N + 1)/4

For B to be integer   N + 1  = 4K

=> N = 4K - 1

=> B = (4K - 1) + (4K - 1 + 1)/4

=> B = 4K - 1  + K

=> B = 5K - 1

K = 1  , B   = 4

K = 2  ,  B = 9

B = 4 => 4B = 16

16 = 3 * 5  + 1

B = 9 =>  4B = 36

36 = 7 * 5  + 1
