4cos^2theta = 3
cos^2 theta = 3/4
costheta = root 3/2
theta = 30°
or theta = pie/6

Given,

The value of 4cos²θ = 3.

To Find,

The value of θ, if θ is in the first quadrant.

Solution,

Since it is given that

4cos²θ = 3

cos²θ = 3/4

cos θ = √(3/4)

cos θ = √3/2

So,

θ = 30° or -30°

But θ is in the first quadrant

So, θ = 30°

Hence, the value of θ = 30°.
