Answer :

  • sinϴ = 3/5
  • secϴ = 5/4

Solution :

  • Given : 4sinϴ - 3cosϴ = 0
  • To find : sinϴ , secϴ = ?

We have ,

=> 4sinϴ - 3cosϴ = 0

=> 4sinϴ = 3cosϴ

=> sinϴ/cosϴ = 3/4

=> tanϴ = 3/4

Also ,

We know that , tanϴ = p/b

Thus ,

tanϴ = p/b = 3/4

Here ,

p = 3 and b = 4

Now ,

As per Pythagoras theorem ,

=> h² = p² + b²

=> h² = 3² + 4²

=> h² = 9 + 16

=> h² = 25

=> h = √25

=> h = 5

Now ,

=> sinϴ = p/h

=> sinϴ = 3/5

Also ,

=> secϴ = h/b

=> secϴ = 5/4

Hence ,

sinϴ = 3/5 and secϴ = 5/4
