if 4x×^2 +y^2 =40 and xy =6, find 2x + y

(2x+y)sq

= 4xsq +ysq +2.2x.y

= 40 +4xy

= 40+24

= 64

Hence (2x+y)sq= 65

Ie 2x+y=8 Ans
