If 4x + 3y = 10 and x+3y = 7, find the value of x and y?​

4(7-3y) +3y =10

28-12y +3y =10

28-9y = 10

18 = 9y

y= 2

x = 7-3(2) = 1

3x. =3

x=3/3

x=1

therefore

x+3y=7
