let Mahesh's money be 4x
let Rajesh's money be 5x
the sum of their money = Rs. 90
4x + 5x = 90
9x = 90
x=90/9
x = 10
therefore, Mahesh's money = 4x = 4*10 = Rs.40
Rakesh's money = 5x = 5*10 = Rs.50
let Rajesh's money be 5x
the sum of their money = Rs. 90
