4x^2 + 4x +1
Can be written as

(2x)^2 + 2.(2x).(1) + (1)^2

This is in form
a^2 + 2.a.b + b^2 = (a+b)^2

=====> (2x+1)^2

=====> (2x+1).(2x+1)

Divide this by 2x+1 you’ll be remaining with 2x+1 as remainder

Answer —-> (a)
