(5,2) is the roots then x=5 y=2
3x-4y=k
3 * 5 -4*2=k
15-8=k
K=7

{\huge{\red{\sf{Given}}}}\begin{cases}\leadsto \bf{(5,2) \:is\:a\:root\:of\:3x-4y=k.}\\\leadsto\bf{ A\:unknown\:value\:k.}\end{cases}

We have,

  • x-coordinate as 5
  • y-coordinate as 2.

So on putting these values in the given equation,we have,

\sf{\implies 3x-4y=k}

\sf{\implies 3\times 5-4\times2=k}

\sf{\implies 15-8=k}

{\sf{\implies k=15-8}}

{\underline{\boxed{\red{\bf{\mapsto k =7}}}}}

Therefore the value of k is 7 .
