Hey mate
Here's your answer

 \frac{5 -  \sqrt{3} }{2}  +  \sqrt{3} = x + y \sqrt{3}
then by comparing,
x =  \frac{5 -  \sqrt{3} }{2}  \\  and \\ y = 1
