5/6 + (6x-3) = 15/2.
6x-3= 5/6*15/2.= 3*3=9.
6x-3=9.
6x= 9+3.
6x=12.
x=12/6=2.
so x=2.

hope this helps u. plz mark as best........

vaniR: so x= 29/3*6
vaniR: so, x= 29/18.....
vaniR: this is the answer
vaniR: sorry for my mistake i confused u....:(

Given,

  • 5/6 + (6x - 3) = 15/2 is given.

To find,

  • We have to find the value of x.

Solution,

We can simply find the value of x by transposing the terms.

                    5/6 + (6x - 3) = 15/2

        Transposing 5/6 from LHS to RHS, we get

                              6x -3  = 15/2 - 5/6

      Taking LCM on RHS, we get

                               6x -3 = (45-5)/6

                               6x-3  = 40/6

      Now, transposing -3 from LHS to RHS, we get

                                   6x = 40/6 +3

                                   6x = 58/6

                                     x = 58/6 *1/6

                                     x = 29/18

Hence, if 5/6 + (6x - 3) = 15/2 , then x =29/18.
