Answer=

x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

we have

(-5/7)^-4 × (-5/7)^12={(-5/7)^3}^x ×(-5/7)^-1

we know that when base are equal then power will also equal

So, -4+12=3x+(-1)

=8=3x-1

=8+1=3x

=9

=3x

=9/3=x

3=x

hence the x=3
