Answer:

we have

(-5/7)^-4 × (-5/7)^12={(-5/7)^3}^x ×(-5/7)^-1

we know that when base are equal then power will also equal

therefore -4+12=3x+(-1)

=》8=3x-1

=》8+1=3x

=》9=3x

=》9/3=x

=》3=x

hence the x=3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

(-5/7)^-4 × (-5/7)^12={(-5/7)^3}^x ×(-5/7)^-1

As we know when base are equal then power will also be equal -:

∴  -4+12=3x+(-1)

⇒ 8=3x-1

⇒  8+1=3x

⇒ 9=3x

⇒ 9/3=x

⇒  3=x

Therefore, the value of x = 3

Hope it helps!!
