\huge \underline \mathbb {SOLUTION:-}

Ok …according to the question

a+b=9–(1)considering it as eqn 1

a-b=5—(2)considering it as eqn 2

Substracting eqn 2 from eqn 1 we get

2b=4

b=4/2

b=2

Now substituting this value of b in eqn 1 we get

a+2=9

So a=9–2

a=7

So a=7 and b=2

Hope it helps .
