\huge\boxed{\pink{\sf{Given -}}}

α + β = 5

αβ = 6

\huge\boxed{\pink{\sf{Solution -}}}

α² + β² = ( α + β ) ² - 2 αβ

Putting the value α + β = 5 and αβ = 6

= ( 5 )² - 2(6)

= 25 - 12

= 13

The value of α² + β² is 13
