If 5 bricks each of mass 15kg are kept one over the other, find the pressure experienced by the 2nd brick from ground level.( Dimension of brick 75 x 50 x 10 in cm units)

its mean force on  2nd brick is = weight of three brick upon it

force on 2nd brick = 3×weight of brick × g

= 3×15×10    we take g=10 m/s² gravitational acceleration

F = 450 N

we know pressure = force / area

the surface area of brick = 75×50 cm²

A= 3750 cm² = 3750×10⁻⁴   m²

so

pressure = F/A

P = 450/3750×10⁻⁴

P = 0.12 × 10⁴

pressure P = 1200 N/m²
